Get Involved

What's on at HBC?

Find ways to connect, serve, disciple, grow, and get involved in our community.

Wherever you’re at in your journey, we invite you to join us as we support each other through life. We’ll meet you where you’re at, and have a place for you to feel welcome and be loved.

Sunday services

Join us on Sundays at 9:30am for worship, prayer, monthly communion, and Biblical teaching. Be excited and encouraged in a warm and welcoming family atmosphere as we go deeper into Christianity. Stay after the service for tea, coffee, and a good chat.

Crèche (ages 1 – 4) and Sunday School (ages 5 – 12) are available during the service when the sermon is on — this means our young people can still join us for family worship. Each is run by friendly volunteers who are passionate about teaching the Bible in age-appropriate ways through songs, dancing, craft, stories, and games. Each one of our helpers has a Working With Children Check, and we follow the Safe Church Policy as outlined by Australian Baptist Ministries.

Small groups

Hedland Baptist small groups are a great way to connect, build authentic community, and provide an opportunity to unpack the Bible in more depth. We keep it casual and meet in homes where group members (Christians and non-Christians) can discuss and discover God’s Truth in a relaxed, comfortable setting.

We love challenging each other in healthy ways as we explore Christ, the Bible, Christianity in general, and how we can lead Christ-loving lives every day. These are awesome times of support, encouragement, compassion, and fellowship for wherever you’re at in life. Contact us to join a group — we’d love to have you!

Youth group

Our exciting youth ministry has just launched! Happening weekly on Friday nights, young people aged 13 – 25 are invited to hang out for movie nights, quiz nights, games, dinners, teaching, connection, and more. Each gathering is different, dynamic, and a great opportunity to have fun as we experience Jesus.

Youth is run by passionate Leaders who are truly excited to share the Gospel with young people and see them flourish in their spiritual journeys. Leaders have a Working With Children Check and follow the Safe Church Policy as outlined by Australian Baptist Ministries.

Contact us to see what’s happening this week — don’t forget to bring your friends!

Ladies care & share

Ladies Care & Share is an opportunity for believers and non-believers to come together. We support one another as we go deeper in Christ, have open discussions, share burdens, pray together, and of course, just sit and have a cuppa.

We meet fortnightly during the school term and would love you to join us on Wednesdays from 9:30am – 11:00am.
